I am writing as a Toronto resident concerned about the proposal for an.interim combined sewer. I OPPOSE this permit. This is about health and safety of the citizens of this city and those who visit our beautiful land. A land that we are stewards of, not land that we own to ruin as corners are cut. Read more

This sewer cannot happen. It will put our Great Lake Ontario at risk of becoming more contaminated with sewage after decades of the city working to clean our lake. This proposal disregards both environmental regulations and public opinion. Read more

the development at Ontario place should NEVER have been done without an environmental assessment. The fact that the premier avoided all accountability and review shows that a lot of this deal is in his own self interest and not the people of Ontario. Read more

Regarding the proposal for an interim combined sewer to support the Therme Megaspa development at Ontario Place: I am opposed to this proposal for this costly infrastructure work ($60 million) as it is being paid for by taxpayers to fund a private commercial enterprise. Read more

Please do not put sewerage into any body of water without proper treatment. We cleaned up the bodies of water in Canada and now Ontario Place wants to put more. This Is 2025. Have we not learned how to take care of the earth correctly? Do your job properly. Stop hurting the earth.

I am opposed to the proposal for an interim combined sewer to support development at 955 Lake Shore Blvd (Ontario Place). This goes against decades of work by the City of Toronto to separate and replace combined sewers across the city to prevent discharge of raw sewage into Lake Ontario. Read more

I am opposed to this project. As a result of this new sewage pipe, parts of our waterfront will be contaminated. This reverses efforts to clean up our beaches and swim destinations, significantly reducing access to natural water resources. Read more

I would like to comment on the proposal for an interim sewage outlet at Ontario Place to support the Therme Spa. It's disappointing to see this being proposed. The spa was not a priority on anyone's list but for Therme. Read more

This is a ridiculous proposal that would negatively impact both the environment and the health and wellbeing of the thousands of people who enjoy the public access to water sports and enjoyment of the lakeshore in times of extreme heat in the summer and during the rest of the year. Read more
