Regarding the proposal for a combined sewer to support development at Ontario Place (955 Lakeshore Blvd) -- I am opposed to this proposal, going against decades of work by the city to separate and replace combined sewers across the city, to prevent the discharge of raw sewage into Lake Ontario. Do not allow direct sewage to go to into the lake! This is terrible, why is this even an option it should be against the law and nobody should approve any movement or allow any business to continue with such rediculousness.

I’m not too sure how this is even a discussion. Please do not move the sewage simply for a private company on PUBLIC land. Therme has already taken over land that Torontonians use, and now they need to move their sewage into MORE public spaces? Read more

It is standard practice when completing waterworks projects that combined sewers are opportunistically separated. It is unclear when the combined sewer will not be separated here. Combined sewers are antiquated infrastructure and there are many solutions besides building a new one. Read more

I am appalled that our government is trying to do this. It is completely disrespectful not only to the lake and environment, but also to the citizens of Ontario and Toronto. Everything about this stinks both literally and figuratively. Read more
