As a member of the Lake Simcoe Conservation Foundation and having spent all of my life at a cottage on Lake Simcoe at DeGrassi Point, which is on Innisfil’s third line I have to write to say how vastly important it is to consider this area part of the Greenbelt.

Rezoning of green belt areas has become a way of community growth. Growth is not always the right direction if the constituents of an area enjoy the smaller community / family environments, air quality, water availability and quality and general community / social wellness.
