What are the provincial enforcement mechanisms to ensure municipalities implement these policies in order to increase the approved land available for housing stock? If there is no enforcement, these provincial goals will not be achieved.
This is a good step forward, curious to see how it affects the eastern Ontario municipalities that tend to see extreme pushback from residents and council members who undermine the housing projects, they make it difficult to develop housing in city centres and adjacent to major transit nodes.

As a farmer, I applaud the proposal to allow additional houses to be built on the farm to support multigenerational families. Housing prices are incredibly high and availability is not abundant.

Why is natural heritage still under consideration, nearly 6 months after this process was initiated?
Will the review and comment period be extended when the natural heritage section is applied? If not, why?
Absolutely unsupportive of this mess. The Growth Plan is a key land use planning document that has specified density targets that requires intensification, a key tool to impact climate change, improve community scale development and limit urban sprawl.

The Consersative growth plan is not what most citizens want to see. Unfortunately this plan was created without the expectations of citizens taken into account.
I am glad to see the Indigenous inclusion in consideration of land use. Also glad to see the focus on single family housing changed to include diverse and mixed housing.
