Hi there, I am a young farmer submitting comments on the 'A place to Grow' act and the new proposed Provincial Planning Statement. I am happy to see some things in the proposal that should make for better urban areas, more housing and reduce pressure on farmland.

Settlement Area Boundary Expansions
The DRFA strongly opposes the proposed changes to settlement area boundary expansion policies. Higher-density development is needed to limit agricultural land loss.
