YES. Excellent. The cottagers should be able to stay and the park management plan should be updated to support that effort. Perhaps this clause can be removed from the park management plan altogether so that it won't have to be updated again if the government decides to extend the cottage leases. Read more

We have enjoyed our cottage in rondeau and all that comes with the land lease. Happy about the possible 14 year extension. We would be extremely pleased with a 99 year lease or ownership, but content with the extension proposal. See you on the beach in 2025!!!

I support the proposal in ERO 019-8289 to amend the Rondeau Park Management Plan to allow cottages to remain in Rondeau Park until 2038 or later. Cottages and cottagers are an integral part of the park and its community, especially the heritage cottages. Thank you!

I trust that the Province will create new leases and extensions that have reasonable terms and conditions that support the Rondeau Cottagers' community. Consultation with the Rondeau Cottagers Association will be critical to achieving this.

1) We are very much in favor of the proposal in ERO 019-8289 to amend the Rondeau Park Management Plan so that cottages will remain in Rondeau Park until at least 2038, and hopefully beyond! The cottages are one of the reasons cited in the original 1894 Park charter that the Park was created!! Read more

I am in favour of extending the terms. I am a cottage owner. I am totally in favour of the tentative agreement for us to buy our lots. It is in the best interest of all. The reasoning backing this is as follows: 1. Cottages have been there since they were in encouraged to do so by the Province. Read more
