I am devastated that your government is considering removing the bike lanes on Bloor. I use them frequently and feel safe doing so which was not the case before they were installed. Please withdraw this shortsighted initiative that would put thousands of Toronto cyclists in jeopardy.

Removing already installed bike lanes is a huge waste of money, they were installed for a reason. If there was a concern about them before that should have been flagged BEFORE, so we're not spending money twice for no reason. Work with the city, not against. Read more

This is a terrible idea. I bike every workday on yonge to get to work, and this bike lane is the only reason I feel safe doing so. If this bike lane is removed, I will go back to driving to work, which will worsen: traffic, my health, my budget, downtown parking, and the safety of all road users. Read more

I am against Ontario Bill 212 (Reducing Gridlock, Saving You Time Act, 2024) for several critical reasons. The proposal to remove bike lanes as a means of reducing traffic congestion is fundamentally flawed and unsupported by evidence. Read more

This proposal is completely nonsensical. The provincial government should not be adding red tape preventing local governments trying to increase transportation options. I consider bike lanes and mass transit vital options to help reduce congestion on city streets. Read more
