It seems foolish to me that a clean energy project such as this is being considered for closure given that we need to be putting more resources towards projects similar to this one in order to reduce our carbon footprint faster so we can avoid the dangers outlined by the IPCC in early October.
It's not like closing it down is saving money either. In fact, it looks like it will cost a large amount of money to shut this project down.
It doesn't make any sort of sense to me.
