Please RETHINK the proposed regulation to remove the wpd project.
The reasons to keep the wpd wind mills -

 Harm caused to the environment by ripping out the almost completed project
 Harm caused to the Blandings Turtle by ripping out the almost completed project
 Costs associated with ripping out the almost completed project
 Ripping the almost completed project doesn’t solve the problem of high hydro costs.
 Ontario looks better for investing in green energy.
 Clean energy is good energy. The planet isn’t getting any younger.
 The land is scrub and rock. There is not much else one can do with it.
 Demolishing a project when it’s nearly complete is the opposite of “cutting inefficiencies” (as the PC’s like to tell us.
 Globally, Ontario will look like double dealers if we revoke the renewable energy approval at this stage - ya know, promises made, promises kept.

Providing incentives for builders and users of green energy is a good idea but it must remain economically sound for Ontario and its taxpayers. If we have a product others want to buy then let’s build on that. To take an over $100 million project and throw it away because someone screwed up the math 10 years ago makes no sense. Stop the blame game and use your heads.
