I am writing to request that you make caribou protection a priority! As a nomadic species, they require vast tracts of intact boreal forest in order to survive. Giving the logging industry an exemption until at least 2020 from the Endangered Species Risk Act is unconscionable. The caribou are already threatened. It is unacceptable to exempt the logging industry from rules that protect the caribou, the boreal forest, and its other inhabitants.
