I have held the annual public meetings, on behalf of the Golf Club I work for, each year since it was mandated in 1990.
For the first three years we did have one couple (neighbors to the property ) come and sit through the presentation.
We actually just held our annual IPM public meeting again today (November 13) with "0" people in attendance - as it has been for the last 15+ years.
To prepare for and host this mandatory meeting it costs my organization over 1900$ annually - for absolutely no reason. All of our application records are currently a matter of public record.
I believe this is a redundant, overly expensive exercise imposed on small business and it provides "0" benefit to anyone. I would rather spend this money towards hiring another PT student during the summer months.
