Bottled water companies should pay a reasonable amount for water they take.
I think a least 30 cents a litre is reasonable for uses that are not a necessity. I understand there are communities that rely on bottle water and that should be subsidized since clean water is not being provided through the water supply system available in that area.
People buy cases of water because it is so ridiculously cheap - $4.00 a case some places!!!
We should drink tap water or filtered tap water as they are safe and clean in most places.
Drinking tap water or filtered tap water is a habitat should be promoted. Municipalities spend millions of tax payer's dollars to provide clean drinking water - So people should drink it.
The communities should be consulted and approve any water taking permits for their area. It is absurd that residents tap water quality and quantity can be degraded as a result of water taking by corporations.
