Removing funding from non-core services will be detrimental to the people of our province. Conservation authorities are in much need of this support to ensure that people who visit conservation areas have the best possible experience. This is important because the more people connect with nature the more they will want to care for it. If the province takes away this funding then it it showing the people of Ontario that they should also not care for their environment. Personally, I feel more connected to my community and local environments when I spend time in nature. Conservation areas are an incredible resource to facilitate this connection. Please reconsider reducing the support to conservation authorities and show the people of Ontario that you support CA's and they should to.
