This planning is crucial for planning going forward.
The effects of Bill 23 will be very expensive and labour intensive for one of the fastest growing areas of Ontario. Estimates of the cost are 30 million over 5 years with 6-8 new hires required just to deal with the mess caused by abrupt and profound changes made by the provincial government!
Municipalities have been planning consistently and need to be able to follow through with the results of these years of planning and work!
