To whom it may concern,
Respectfully I want to see published the research findings the ERO is using to make the changes to the snare laws. I can.t make an educated reply unless I see these.
The fur industry does not have the right to make these dedisions for the public. We need to pu the animal welfare first. All the fur industry cares about are profits.
Killing and restraining snares and Relaxing Cable Restraints cause target and non-target animals so much suffering. Snares are NOT CERTIFIED TRAPS under the Agreement on International Humane Trapping Standards and have NO PLACE in the Province of Ontario.
