Any changes to the current regulations, should be driven by animal welfare concerns and involve scientific data, and not be based on a request from the fur industry, who only have one agenda and that is to protect and maximise profits. Furthermore, it is time Ontario abandoned altogether the outdated and cruel practices of allowing trapping and restraining of wildlife.
