This application should be refused.
As I pointed out to the Client Services & Permissions Branch (CSPB) representative, Ontario Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP), there is no such address as 795 River Road, Pembroke.
I pointed this out to her in several emails on July 17 and 18, and she agreed "Yes, it is possible it is a typing error on the posting."

The carelessness with which this application was submitted gives me no confidence whatsoever that the applicant will take care to comply with the environmental compliance requirements for this facility.
If they can`t take the time to ensure that their address is listed correctly, how can we trust them to protect the air quality?
The fact that the the application "includes the addition of new or historically unapproved sources for all emissions from G W Metal Mining Inc., " worries me greatly.
New kinds of air pollution from a careless applicant? Yikes!

I am concerned about the current government's lax attitude toward environmental protection, the assumption that most people will do the right thing and we don't need government employees oversight.

Well this is one case where Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks SHOULD and MUST intervene.
Appoval should NOT be given without a thorough inspection.
