The Province should review and consider similar changes to the Niagara Escarpment Plan (NEP). Currently the NEP does NOT permit ARU's in detached buildings, only within primary dwellings in specific land use designations. As an example, the Escarpment Recreation Area of the NEP designation covers the majority of the Craigleith and Camperdown areas of the Town of The Blue Mountains, with these areas being fully serviced with numerous "conventional" plans of subdivision wherein ARU's are not permitted due to the area being located within the Escarpment Recreation Area under the NEP..
