We need MORE bike lanes. Cyclists do not feel safe on the roads even with bike lanes installed. Drivers do not pay attention when driving and constantly swerve onto the unprotected bike lane.
Connect neighbourhoods with proper bike lanes and people will use them! A lot of friends I know would like to ride their bikes but don't because they do not feel safe on the roads.
