I am a daily cyclist in Toronto - I own a car but choose to cycle to work because the bike lanes on Bloor Street make this possible. If these bike lanes were removed it would deeply impact mine and other cyclists’ safety as well as potentially add more traffic due to folks like me who may choose to drive if a safe bike route is not available. Research has shown traffic is not improved by taking out bike lanes and puts more lived as risk. This bill is misinformed.
