Southern Ontario's Carolinian forests are fragile as is, we don't need yet another highway disrupting it. We already have a big invasive species problem that's seeping into our natural areas from disturbed ground, we do not need to add more by building unnecessary highways (the solution to traffic is not building more lanes or highways to further incentivize car use). Having grown up in Vaughan it hurt to see the nature I grew up loving being turned into development, and this bill may take those valuable spaces away to young children in addition to disrupting the environment.
