Please do not cancel cap and trade without a new plan in place. Climate change is a serious issue, and these wild climate anomalies will only get worse the less we do. Without a new plan ready, we will grow apathetic and less motivated than if there were a real problem with the current plan. Big businesses will only take advantage of the lack of control on their emissions and pollute without restraint.

I have no problem with looking at new ideas, but do not cancel cap and trade without first preparing a new policy to replace it.
