I am very concerned about the corporate privatization of Canada's water.
Our federal government must take action against such incursions on local communities such as those in southern Ontario which have been INVADED BY NESTLÉ.
Our small municipal governments need protection from such giant international operators who do not take care of Canadian citizens living in the small municipalities tasked to assure the public security of water quality; all the while having no clear recourse or protection against big profit-making by water-bottling companies. This grave problem SHOULD HAVE BEEN ADDRESSED BY NAFTA NEGOTIATIONS AGAINST UNLIMITED EXTRACTIONS OF OUR RESOURCES.
Instead, we kept the clause that protects them against lost profits!
STAND UP FOR CANADA'S RESOURCES BY DENYING THEM TOTALLY FREE AND UNLIMITED PROFITS!
WHAT ABOUT CANADIAN CITIZENS' LOSSES?!!!
THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT MUST PROTECT 100% MANAGEMENT OF CANADA'S WATER SOURCES!
