I am very concerned that this site proposal has been approved. It is setting a precedent, and as such the site conditions need to be optimal.

My primary concern is the enviromental impact. The leaching of chemicals from the biosolids into the soil and water system, particularly during times of significant rainfall is a potential hazard that needs to be better addressed. This is our farmland, the source of our food. Contamination cannot be risked. In additon, as it is a rural area, residents rely on individual wells to supply their water. Contamination of these wells could have dire consequences.

A site that is fully enclosed with a roof would help to minimize leaching, and in my opinion would be much safer.

I strongly urge you to reconsider this decision.
