Cycling does contribute to reducing gridlock because it reduces the number of cars on the road. Having safe cycling infrastructure only encourages cycling! Removal of these facilities is an irresponsible waste of money! Shame on the government for proposing this!
Want to reduce gridlock? Make right turns on red illegal. You go when it’s your turn. Gridlock happens because of bad driving habits and impatience. Not because of cycling infrastructure.
