I use the bike lanes on Yonge Street to connect to Bloor street several times per week. Before the installation of these dedicated lanes I did not ride my bike or bike share down Yonge street because of the risk of riding in traffic. I believe Yonge street is the most suitable to host bike lane going south based on resident density and because Mt. Pleasant Rd. and Avenue Rd. are higher speed and higher volume thoroughfares. Removing these lanes will impact my quality of life. I ask the provincial government to reconsider their removal.
