This makes no sense to me. The money has been spent and the project could be operational to this stage and contribute to the grid. Tearing it down is worse than silly and will cost us additional money before it is over.
Also you claim Ontario is open for business and then close down a nearly completed project which would provide hydro and jobs? Renewable energy is being pursued vigorously in most of the world, notably China, India, and Europe. This will cost us future jobs and leave us behind on innovations and jobs in the future.
