I am glad there will be no sport hunting or fishing in the park. An urban park will encourage people to care about nature in a peaceful way.

Please do not “manage” or “control” “hyperabundant” animals, and do not “manage” “problem” animals. Culling is not safe nor humane. The cities of Longueuil, St Bruno, and Montreal cull deer in the parks, causing animals to suffer injuries. And “health and safety” issues are human created by not properly managing food and food scraps. Please only permit humane, non lethal animal coexistence. Work with local wildlife rehabilitation centres for injured animals. www.ontariowildliferescue.ca

Please also ban development and do not use herbicide or other pesticides. Keep the park free from chemicals.
