I am commenting on the proposal for an interim combined sewer to support development at the Ontario place. I am opposed to the proposal which goes against decades of work to try to prevent the discharge of raw sewage into the lake. It also goes against international agreements to protect water quality and habitats in the Great Lakes. There are also risks to human health. This proposal to benefit the private sector is not in the public interest.
