Dumping more raw sewage into the lake is an obviously stupid and callous idea. We drink that lake water!
It is also a lost opportunity. Consider the spa and science centre could build a solar aquatic sewage treatment system. It is proven technology, way cheaper and cleaner to operate than chemical systems, and it could be an actual amenity for both tenants on the island! For example, visitors to the science centre would experience a learning opportunity and the spa could pay for it and get positive profile. Hell, back in the day, a land use planning company (was it Dylan?) tried to promote solar aquatic sewage treatment to municipalities and offered a plan: the system can pay for itself from the savings! Alas, the engineers and book keepers in charge could not imagine it.
