I am commenting on the proposal for an interim combined sewer to support development at 955 Lake Shore Boulevard (Ontario Place). The province has also not held any consultations about this work with the general public and it is clear that this project will jeopardize water quality and human health. The Great Lakes are protected by international agreements which will be broken by this needless and rushed sewer debacle. So much habitat has already been lost to the corrupt development of the mega spa on a former important green space of our city. This assault on the water is a new low for the government. It must be stopped. The ethics of this development are non existent. The bad smell will linger for generations. I hope they will be able to smell it in the sauna.

This proposal to benefit private sector initiatives, is not in the public interest and threatens the stability of the lake ecosystem in a time of severe biodiversity loss. Please deny this permit.
