A large part of the cormorant population is located on the Leslie Street S[it. This area is close to water with a lot of boat traffic in the summer and on weekends, people enjoying hiking and cycling on the Spit. It makes no sense to have gunfire happening here. For that matter- anywhere on the lakeshore, people are enjoying parks, beaches of just being near the water in the summer- again not a place to have gun bearers.
