This hurts. A bad decision to allow storm water to continue to discharge into Lake Ontario is beyond comprehension. This is not what the city needs. This is not what the planet needs. Is anyone in a decision-making capacity thinking, really giving thought, to this short-term, band-aid compromise of a plan made to accommodate a foreign company building a private spa on public land? What a waste of public money. This really hurts. When is the province going to do something that improves infrastructure in Toronto that makes sense for future generations? Please stop being bad actors in a terrible reality show that nobody wants. We can do better. We can spend our resources in a more cohesive, collaborative process that makes the Toronto Waterfront better not shittier. This stinks.
RE: Environmental Compliance Approval (sewage) for Infrastructure Ontario. This application is for the approval of interim combined sewer overflows to be constructed at 955 Lake Shore Boulevard West, in the City of Toronto. The storm water will discharge into Lake Ontario.
