I'm commenting on the proposed sewer work related to the development of Ontario Place. I'm against this proposal that would undo many years of work by the city to prevent discharging raw sewage into Lake Ontario. It goes against agreements to protect water quality in Lake Ontario, and risks human health for individuals who use the lake and the beach for fishing and recreation. There has been no consultation with the general public about this work, which aims to benefit private sector projects rather than the public interest. Please deny this permit.
