My family came to Toronto in the 1950's and at that time the shoreline or lake ontario was polluted. Immigrants still found a way to enjoy it, incredibly. In the decades since we have come together as a society, from both sides of the border, to make clean this incredible gift of Lake Ontario. I cannot support the polluting of the water's edge with this spa proposal. The privatizing of a once public institution does not mean we can side-step environmental reviews. We've learned a lot since the 1950's and I think this specific sewage proposal shows that some lessons have not been heard in the halls of ontario politics. Please do not go forward with this misguided sewages work. Let's find a solution, together.
