These birds are destroying the islands on both the Niagara and St. Lawrence river. The trees can't fend for themselves and the damage being done can't be reversed. These birds nest on near the greatest spawning grounds available for many fish species and are detrimental to these wild fish maintaining a healthy population in our waters. Please make every effort to allow hunters to reduce numbers before it's too late.
