This is obscene on so many levels. Gutting these eco systems will irrevocably damage our environment, harm/endanger native wildlife and worsen conditions for the public as climate change escalates. Wetlands for instance only cover 3% of the earth’s surface but absorb twice as much carbon as all the world’s forests combined- they also release methane out and reduce the impacts of extreme weather. This is dangerous and wrong.
