Ontario is the only place in Canada with a Carolinian Forest Habitat, which has more species than any other ecoregion in Canada. Removing protection from habitats is not progress. The province needs to tell developers they must find ways to develop that does not destroy needed areas for already at risk species. I am extremely disappointed that this government continues to line the pockets of developers at the expense of environment. This plan needs to be reversed.
