Regulations may be annoying…

Regulations may be annoying to developers but they exist for a reason.
Repealing environmental protections is unacceptable.
When corporations are permitted to do as they please, they will not prioritize the health of Canadians nor our ecosystem.
Look at what is happening in parts of the US where corporations are polluting without sufficient oversight and there are significantly higher rates of Parkinsons in these regions. I use this argument as my impression is that this Ontario government doesn't care about nature or endangered species, but I think it should at least consider how less oversight leads to impacts of people as well.
Bill 5 is deeply concerning and the government should consider the health of its citizens and the importance of its nature and biodiversity.
