If wildlife "belongs" to anyone, then it "belongs" to everyone and I don't want "my" cormorants to face a cruel slaughter to satisfy the interests of the "fun with a gun" crowd. This is the twenty-first century and we should be adopting compassionate conservation strategies to co-exist with the wild nations. Our poor, poor planet is reaching her tipping point and she doesn't need our destructive policies to push her over the edge.
