I am categorically opposed…

I am categorically opposed to this bill. It is critical that we protect and prioritize our lands and species in our province.

I refuse to grant Doug ford and his developer/mining friends the ability to make decisions about the environment without checks and balances. The people with the vested interests in profits from extraction or development cannot be the people who decided whether a land or species should be protected. This is a massive conflict of interest.

Mining in the north is causing massive issues with pollution in rivers and ground water and there is no accountability now for clean up or restoration - I absolutely do not want to loosen the regulations that are barely in place now.

I AM OPPOSED TO THIS BILL AND THE ENTIRETY OF ITS CONTENTS.

I am saying NO TO BILL 5.
