I agree that these birds have had the opportunity to over popluate and as such are ruining the enovomments inwhich they establish there flock. A hinting season for population control is a much needed answer to this problem however based on past mistakes regarding hunting as a tool for this purpose i feel that a shortened hunting season and a hunt limit much smaller then that proposed 50 per day (possibly 5-10) would be better served. This would allow for management without causing rapid declines in the popluation because dispite them being a pest they are a native bird and do serve a purpose in nature.
