No. No. No. We are not having this. I don't break my back fighting against ecological collapse for Doug Ford to hand out free passes to his buddies to bulldoze the forests.
The planet is ON FIRE. Storms get worse every year. In 2023 we were choking on wildfire smoke. I would like to be able to someday again go outside in the summer without risking heat stroke. This bill is a big step BACKWARDS. We don't need unregulated development, we need environmental protections and climate action.
If Doug Ford cannot reckon with the dire situation we are all in, and refrain from proposing legislation to exacerbate the problem, then perhaps he is unfit for public office.
