I think that this proposal is sending us in the opposite direction that we need to go. "Under the current Endangered Species Act, 2007 (ESA) program, the process to obtain a permit is slow and complex." Perhaps it should be complex and thorough to ensure that our environment is protected. Speeding up the process and making it easier for developers to skirt environmental protections will make our province less sustainable.
