Canada has an incredible land mass with a wide variety of environments and climates. We should above all other nations be able to accomodate and make room for unique species. The genetic diversity across the planet is dwindling and our brains can't comprehend the enormous time spans unique organism had to traverse and evolve to arrive at the present. Even if they don't visually have the presence of a majestic known species their place in natural history is just as valid. The natural world is helpless against out machinery and technology. We should at least have some protections against just wiping them out for short term profit by those in our society who are uncaring, short sighted and greedy.
