This proposed legislation could allow hasty, unregulated action which will do permanent damage to irreplaceable natural assets in Ontario. Moreover, it is undemocratic to sweep aside regulation and transparency in the name of “efficiency”. I stronglu oppose any legislation which seeks to sideline environmental regulation and local control of resources.
