I am both horrified and dismayed that this bill is being proposed. Nature and wildlife face serious challenges to their survival every day due to humans destroying their habitat, evicting them from places where they have tried to find refuge, and from vehicles driven carelessly by humans. Our environment is integral to human mental health and well-being, to healthy food sources for us and our families, and our native animals all play a role in making sure that our environment runs smoothly. Ontario’s tagline for years was “Keep It Beautiful”. I urge you to reconsider this Bill with the goal of keeping Ontario beautiful in mind, and protecting the environmental health and natural diversity in this province.
