The game and commercial fishing lobby are incorrect to think their catch levels are affected by cormorants, loons, ducks or any other bird. These birds' diets consist of only 2% game fish fry. The recent cormorant rebound is just a return to their natural number and has now levelled off. To allow a cull is cruel and pointless. Their number will consistantly strive for the current population level and the cull will have to be repeated endlessly. To kill what you will not eat is immoral and I urge you to listen to the environmental lobby and refuse the fishing lobby.
