I am absolutely appalled…

I am absolutely appalled that such a bill is even being considered. Why are we purposefully destroying our planet for the sake of developers? Even the summary of the bill itself is shocking to read, stating that protecting species at risk is "complicated and takes too long". Seriously? Of course it's complicated and takes a long time. That is how you do things properly, intelligently, and diligently.  Claiming that it causes delays in building housing and infrastructure is a copout. If we destroy our provinces sensitive species, we will not have inhabitable land on which to build housing and infrastructure at all. Please stop destroying this province from every single direction. Social services, education, and now our fragile species that need protection. All for the sake of "development". I am ashamed to call myself an Ontarian if this is the direction we are going in.
