This proposal would do away with a LAW that deals with:
-Prevent pollution by reducing the use and creation of toxic substances.
-Inform Ontarians about those substances.
and replace it with a "Plan", run by the federal government, which gives incentives but does not regulate.
In other words, businesses will now be able to take advance of federal incentives, if they choose, but will no longer be regulated in respect of toxic substances.
Open for business at the expense of consumer, employee and public health - this should replace the "for the people" slogan.
